Proton, not a verified badge

Steam Deck, with a small sample

Four ProtonDB reports say Platinum. The confidence flag on that summary is low.

Last checked: 2026-10-28. Version: iOS 2.0.7 (Apple listing, single source); other client build numbers are not established.

Compatibility evidence

ProtonDB’s low-confidence Linux compatibility summary is single-source. The September report names Proton Experimental; it is historical context, not a tested current configuration for your Deck. No server login, anti-cheat or controller test was performed.

Questions people actually search

Is it Deck Verified?

I did not find a Valve verification state. ProtonDB’s four-report Platinum rating is not the same thing.

Does it support a controller?

Steam’s category text I saw lists keyboard and mouse. A controller layout was not in that block. 120 FPS is a PC selling point, not a Deck measurement.

Which Proton version?

The September 2026 note names Proton Experimental. I do not have a newer official pin.
