Begin with one gun route: mobile Pistol, sustained Gatling, ranged Rifle or control Shotgun.

Skills and route selection
Pistol uses Chain Action, Platinum Altar and repeated Desperado. Later Gatling builds use Last Stand and normal attacks; Rifle pairs Bull’s Eye with Tracking; Shotgun uses Spread Shot and Crowd Control Shot.
Stats: what to prioritize
AGI, DEX and LUK form the guide’s general attack foundation. Equipment priorities include Hit, attack speed and Critical support; weapon choice determines which effects are useful.
Gear, traits and cards
Start with one weapon package. Skills and traits are weapon-restricted, so a developed PvE set is not automatically a PvP set. Compare general physical and Critical cards before committing to an element-specific card.
Runes and investment order
The guide suggests Water or Wind resonance for damage and Fire for PvP. These are single-source priorities, not guarantees for every weapon or current patch.
