Co-op chest troubleshooting
Trio chests: check the prompt, not the nickname
The checked public tracker calls its co-op category two-player exploration chests. A three-player chest type, its coordinates and its rewards have not been established by the sources reviewed here.
Last checked: 2026-10-28. Game build: not established in the cited public sources; dated snapshots are identified below.
What the public tracker actually describes
ITKB's Ragnarok: The New World map tracker, checked on October 28, 2026, distinguishes solo exploration chests from two-player co-op exploration chests. Its explanation calls for two players standing together and interacting simultaneously. This is one fan tool's mechanism description, not an independently reproduced client test.
The checked RONWDB Prontera file organizes records under chest, guard-chest and mystery categories; it does not establish a universal category named trio. A missing label in these sources cannot prove that no three-person interaction exists anywhere, in any language or event.
Match the obstacle to the mechanic
| What you see | Source description | Useful next check |
|---|---|---|
| An explicit co-op requirement | ITKB describes a two-player interaction. | Read the client player count; if it says two, coordinate with one partner and try interacting together. |
| Guardians around a chest | ITKB describes guardian chests as combat-gated. | Check for remaining guardians before assuming more players must stand on the chest. |
| A mystery or hidden trigger | The tracker separates mystery interactions from basic exploration chests. | Read that specific pin's hint and the local prompt; a generic co-op instruction may not apply. |
| Weather-related objects | ITKB distinguishes sun, snow and rain conditions. | Check the object's condition instead of inventing a fixed chest reset time. |
These distinctions describe the reviewed tool's taxonomy. They do not establish a complete list of chest types, exact rewards, or that every local prompt uses the same English names.
A practical checklist for a stuck chest
- Write down the full map name, client language and interaction text. Capture the stated player count if one is shown.
- If the prompt matches a two-person co-op interaction, ask one partner to join you at the same object and coordinate the interaction described by the tracker.
- If the blocker is combat, weather or a hidden trigger, follow that specific requirement rather than repeatedly adding party members.
- If the client explicitly asks for three players, keep that evidence. Do not override it with a generic two-player guide; the sources here have not verified that particular object.
- For a location report, include the scene and source coordinate fields. Do not copy a pin from another Ragnarok game or another sewer scene.
These are troubleshooting steps, not a claim that party membership, shared progress, identical quest state or proximity alone guarantees a successful interaction. Check the live prompt for those conditions.
Coordinates, rewards and resets stay object-specific
No trio-coordinate list is published on this page because no checked source binds that name to a verified set of objects. Use the prepared coordinate sample for the sourced chest categories it actually contains; it is neither a complete world map nor a trio filter.
The reviewed evidence does not establish a trio reward table, universal respawn interval or daily reset time. A tracker checkbox is a personal progress aid, not proof of a server reset. If you need a route, first identify a named map and a documented chest category, then keep source differences visible rather than combining unrelated totals.
Questions people actually search
Do trio chests require three players?
That is not established by the checked sources. ITKB describes a two-player co-op category. Follow the actual object prompt, and retain evidence if your client explicitly requires three.
Where are all the trio chest coordinates?
No verified coordinate set under that name was found in the reviewed tracker explanation and Prontera data. This page does not relabel ordinary chest pins as trio chests.
Does opening one complete it for every party member?
The checked explanation does not establish party-wide progress or reward sharing. Check each player's client result instead of assuming shared completion.
